Winter situation reports, weeks ending 29th December 2019

Daily Situation Reports (SitReps) are collected from acute trusts each weekday during winter and include data on areas such as A&E closures and diverts, bed availability and occupancy rates, and ambulance handover delays. The data is published each week.

Details

A daily return is collected from acute trusts and provides information about capacity. This includes bed occupancy and availability, ambulance handover delays and any A&E closures or diverts in response. Data collection for Winter 2019-20 commenced on 2nd December 2019. The first publication was on Friday 13th December 2019.

Official statistics are produced impartially and free from any political influence.
