Details

Reports from 2012 to 2013 can be found on The National Archives.

The information in the tables is derived from the number of Child Trust Fund (CTF) vouchers issued and the number of accounts opened by parents as reported by providers to HMRC.

HMRC ceased issuing vouchers from 31 October 2012 and all vouchers had to be used by 31 December 2012. Where vouchers were not used, HMRC opened an account in the child’s name. So, most children eligible for a CTF have now had an account opened for them by their parents or by HMRC.
