The Taking Part survey has run since 2005 and is the key evidence source for DCMS. It is a continuous face to face household survey of adults aged 16 and over in England and children aged 5 to 15 years old. This latest series of reports presents data up to September 2015.

A release of rolling annual estimates for adults, including the second half of the 2015 to 2016 survey year is due to be published on 21 July 2016.
This series of reports presents additional analysis of data from the Taking Part adult survey. The reports cover libraries, cross-sector participation and social media.

The document above contains a list of ministers and officials who have received privileged early access to this release of Taking Part data. In line with best practice, the list has been kept to a minimum and those given access for briefing purposes had a maximum of 24 hours.
