The tables in this section relate to the supply and performance on housing related support services in England, for Quarter 4 (Financial Year) 2010 and spend for the financial year 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011.
The information presented here was collected on a quarterly basis, from 152 top-tier Administering Authorities, via the Supporting People Local System (SPLS) data uploads. The quarterly analysis provides a breakdown of:
- the number of individual housing related support services that each authority administers
- the capacity of those services measured in households units
- the percentage of vulnerable people achieving independent living and supported to maintain independent living.
Each of the supply analyses represents a snapshot of the number and capacity of services available at a particular point in time and does not reflect the number of households who have actually accessed those services. In addition the quarterly performance analyses relate to an individual quarter; and do not provide a cumulative picture.
The spend data relates to year end retrospective spend data on Supporting People services and is published following financial year end.
This is the last publication of Supporting People Local System data. From April 2011 the Department ceased collection of this data.
