Statistics on the number of trips made by road goods vehicles which travel from Great Britain to Europe between July 2019 and June 2020.

In the 12-month period ending June 2020, 3.1 million trips were made by road goods vehicles travelling from Great Britain to Europe, of which:

  • 2.1 million were by powered vehicles
  • 1 million were by unaccompanied trailers

In the 12-month period ending June 2020, the number of trips made by powered vehicles that travelled from Great Britain to Europe decreased by 10% compared to the previous year, of which:

  • 0.3 million were by UK-registered
  • 1.8 million were by foreign-registered
