Following the first publication of this release on 18 November 2021, analysts found an error in the year ending March 2021 arrests data supplied by Derbyshire Constabulary. Their data on the number of males arrested for ‘possession of weapons’ offences was provided as a duplicate of the number of males arrested for ‘drug offences’, causing the number of arrests in the former category to be overstated. When providing the new data, minor revisions were also made to the number of arrests in other categories. The arrests chapter of this release has therefore been revised, including updated 'Arrests open data tables' and 'Arrest statistics data tables: police powers and procedures, year ending 31 March 2021'.
