This brief sets out the latest statistics available on NEET (not in employment, education or training) in England from the Department for Education 16 to 18 Participation statistical first release (SFR), the Labour Force Survey, and regional NEET figures and a segmentation using Connexions data. Additional tables will be released with the brief which disaggregates the data by characteristics such as gender.

As part of a government drive for data transparency in official publications we will make supporting data for this publication available as an additional table on this page on 9 September 2010.
