The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) has updated mortality rates and life expectancy estimates for England, the English regions and local authorities (upper and lower tier) in the mortality profile.
Indicators in the profile’s ‘summary’ domain have been updated with provisional data for the single year of 2025 and the 3-year period of 2023 to 2025
This profile provides trends in mortality rates for a wide range of causes of death, allowing outcomes to be easily compared. Rates for sub-national geographies allow comparisons between areas.
