Highlights

• Total landings by UK vessels decreased by 11% in May 2024 compared to 2023. The value of landings in May 2024 (£49.4 million) also decreased, down by 22% compared to 2023.
• Landings in May 2024 comprised mostly of Demersal species (52%) driven by high uptake of Cod and Haddock which are typically targeted within the summer months.
