Details
- Total landings by UK vessels increased in May 2023 compared to 2022, down 15 per cent. The value of landings in May 2023 (£53.1 million) decreased by 10 per cent compared to 2022.
- The proportion of total landings made up by Pelagic species decreased from 65 per cent in April 2023 down to less than 1 per cent in May 2023 this was caused by a reduction in Blue Whiting landings due to the quota being mostly utilised in previous months.
