Highlights

• The total quantity of landings by UK vessels (56.6 thousand tonnes) decreased by 42% in January 2026 compared to 2025. The value of landings in January 2026 (£101.6m) also decreased, by 44% compared to January 2025.

• Landings in January 2026 were comprised of mostly Pelagic species, approximately 69% of total. Pelagic species also comprised the majority of the value landed (47%).
