Highlights
- Total landings by UK vessels increased in December 2022 compared to 2021, up 4 per cent. The value of landings in November 2022 (£55.2 million) also increased by 4 per cent compared to 2021.
- There was a large reduction in landings of pelagic species due to the fleet nearing their quota limits in December therefore proportionally landings of demersal and shellfish species were higher relative to total landings in December.
