Highlights

• The total quantity of landings by UK vessels (53 thousand tonnes) decreased by 26% in August 2026 compared to 2025. The value of landings in August 2026 (£87.4 million) also decreased, by 14% (£14.5 million) compared to August 2025.

• Landings in August 2026 were comprised of mostly Pelagic species (54%). Shellfish species comprised the majority of the value landed (38%).
