The Annual Minerals Raised Inquiry (AMRI) survey collects, collates and publishes a comprehensive set of statistics for the production of minerals, by mineral type, such as:
- industrial sand
- sand and gravel
- igneous rock
- crushed rock
- clay and shale
- fireclay and ore minerals
The survey covers all mineral working sites across Great Britain and also reports on the numbers of people employed at mineral working sites.
All the statistical data contained in this report is presented in table form at the level of the individual county, then aggregated at the level of the country England, Scotland and Wales and at the level of Great Britain.
