Details

This statistical first release includes information on recruitment to initial teacher training (ITT) programmes.

There is a forecast of the number of trainees expected to start training later in the academic year.

We use the information to:

  • determine funding for ITT providers
  • monitor the recruitment of under-represented groups in ITT
  • monitor the recruitment of new entrants against intake targets
