  1. Updated the Routine SGSS-DCS audit section.

  2. Revised methodology for the AEC.

  3. New calculation of QMLR data reported in the QEC to reduce the impact of outliers and minor revisions of old terminology.

  4. Revised definitions for the AEC.

  5. Added calculations for rate of blood culture sets, overall stool specimens examined, rate of stool specimens examined for CDI diagnosis, pooled E. coli, Klebsiella spp., P. aeruginosa, MRSA and MSSA blood culture positivity and CDI positivity in the ‘Data set production’ subsection.

Details

Quality and methodology information (QMI) reports are overview notes designed to give users information on the strength and limitations of the data and to allow them to decide what the data is suitable to be used for.

They include qualitative information on the 5 Eurostat dimensions of quality (relevance, accuracy, timeliness and punctuality, accessibility and clarity, coherence and comparability), information on the methods used to compile outputs, and their impact on the quality of the estimates produced.
