Details

The survey assesses patients’ experiences of healthcare services provided by GP practices, including experience of access to GP practices, making appointments, the quality of care received from healthcare professionals, experience of services when their GP practice is closed and patients’ experiences of NHS dental services. The survey also captures information about patient health, including patients’ with long term conditions, disabilities, or illnesses, and the support they receive to manage these. For 2021, the survey also includes questions related to shielding and the avoidance of making appointments during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data is published at GP practice, Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and national level in variety of formats including a National Summary Report, National Results and Trends, and organisation level reports. An interactive analysis tool is available to interrogate the data at different organisation levels, and this tool will also allow users to produce cross-tabulations and sub group analysis.
