This ad-hoc statistical release defines, measures, and contextualises the Gender Pensions Gap in private pensions across Great Britain.

Breakdowns are included to consider the gap for different age bands, pension scheme types and the Automatic Enrolment eligible sub-population.

The Gender Pensions Gap is a complex issue and the metric is therefore contextualised with supporting information on private pension wealth, participation, and contribution.
