Details
The report first analyses the demographic and economic characteristics of households who expect to buy a home at some point in the future. Reasons for not expecting to buy are also explored and the tenure households expect to live in long term is then explored.
This is followed by an examination of the characteristics of adults who would like to buy or rent their own home but cannot afford to do so. Finally, the report discusses mortgage applications and the acceptance rates.
