Public sector equality duty: meeting learners’ needs

This one-page infographic shows how SFA funding provision meets the needs of different groups of learners.

Did you know?

  • disabled learners achieve the same success rates as non-disabled learners in much of our provision
  • the proportion of female engineering and manufacturing apprentices doubled between 2008 to 2012, but was still only 7.8%
  • transgender learners rated further education 7.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 (where 10 means ‘very welcoming’). However, 1 in 3 reported being bullied or harassed because of their gender identity.
