Details

The Dental Working Hours, Motivation Analysis 2014/15 and 2015/16 Report explores the relationship between the motivation and morale of self-employed primary care dentists and their working patterns:

  • Weekly hours of work
  • Division of time between NHS/Health Service and private dentistry
  • Division of time between clinical and non-clinical work

Results are taken from the biennial Dental Working Patterns Survey and this is the second time findings relating to motivation and morale have been published. Figures are presented for England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This report is part of the Dental Working Hours Series which is released in multiple instalments. Initial Analysis was published on 14 September 2016 and contained high level results for in time to be used by each country for their evidence submissions for the Review Body on Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration (DDRB). More detailed figures were released on 19 October 2016 in Additional Analysis.
