Details

Some misunderstandings have occurred in the media regarding the ongoing increases in the Universal Credit (UC) caseload, and the UC health caseload in particular. Whilst some information already exists in the public domain in relation to Move to UC, this ad hoc supports a better understanding of the flows between legacy benefits and UC health by providing further detail and context. This includes joiners to UC health from Employment Support Allowance and other legacy benefits, and the timings between migrating to UC and declaring a health condition to join the health journey.
