Details
The Children and Young People (CYP) Patient Experience Survey collected information on the experiences of CYP who received care admitted to hospital as an inpatient or day case. The survey was sent to people aged 15 days to 15 years at the time of discharge and had received care in hospital during March, April and May 2024. Fieldwork took place between July and October 2024. NHS England undertook thematic analysis of the qualitative data from this survey, to identify key themes and variations in patient experiences, highlighting good practices, and uncovering areas for improvement. A representative sample was drawn from respondents who provided written feedback to the open-ended questions. The qualitative report presents findings at national level.
