The report presents overall findings from the 2021/22 survey, including details on workforce composition, sources of income and expenditure, numbers of performances, participation based events, exhibitions and festivals. Known and estimated audiences provide insight into levels of engagements. In year changes to the survey design reflects new ways core funded organisations are engaging with audiences and communities across Northern Ireland as a result of the coronavirus. The surveys purpose is to monitor changes in workforce composition, financial health and audience engagement - providing evidence to support policy development and to inform key partners.
