Statistics on motor vehicles that were registered for the first time during 2019 and those that were licensed at the end of 2019.

During 2019, there were:

• 2.9 million vehicles registered for the first time in Great Britain
• 79,747 ultra low emission vehicles registered for the first time in Great Britain

At the end of 2019, there were:

• 38.7 million licensed vehicles in Great Britain
