Details
The Adult Inpatient Experience Survey collected information on the experiences of 62,444 adults, who stayed in hospital for at least one night for tests, medical treatment or surgery during November 2024. All data was collected between January and April 2025. NHS England undertook thematic analysis of the qualitative data from this survey, to identify key themes and variations in patient experiences, highlighting good practices, and uncovering areas for improvement. A representative sample was drawn from respondents who provided written feedback to the open-ended questions. The qualitative report presents findings at national level.
