This is an ad-hoc release providing data requested by UNESCO for the Cultural Indicators 2030 project. This release includes the following estimates:
- The number of filled jobs in the UNESCO Cultural Domains and cultural occupations in the UK and Coventry, January to December 2024. These estimates are based on definitions provided by UNESCO for ‘cultural’ industries and occupations. Although there are some overlaps, these definitions differ from the cultural sector definition used in DCMS Sector Economic Estimates.
- Adult engagement in selected UNESCO activities by physical and digital engagement, age band and Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) quintile in England from May 2023 to March 2024.
