Details
We are asking young people aged 16 and under from across the UK to share their ideas about climate and nature. These ideas will help shape what the Youth Climate and Nature Panel focuses on when it starts later this year.
We want to hear about the climate or nature issues that matter most to you – what ideas do you have that the government’s Youth Climate and Nature Panel should consider?
This could cover climate and nature issues in the UK or the area where you live, ideas for action in communities, schools or other groups across the country, or suggestions for how young people can work with government, businesses, or people from other generations.
We are looking to hear from school, community, sports, faith or other youth groups. You can share your thoughts in a range of ways, including:
- short videos
- digital artwork, like drawings or posters
- written submissions, like letters, poems, essays or short responses
- audio recordings or presentations
- creative new digital ways of sharing your ideas
As well as helping to shape the work of the Youth Climate and Nature Panel we will explain how these ideas have been considered and will also showcase entries to the public to celebrate a range of inspiring ideas, with participants’ permission.
How to submit your entry
The deadline for entries is Friday 23 October 2026.
