This guide has been written especially for children and young people and summarises the main Munro review.
In June 2010, Michael Gove MP, the Secretary of State for Education, asked Professor Eileen Munro to conduct an independent review of child protection in England.
The report makes recommendations that aim to change the child protection system from too much paperwork and reliance on doing everything ‘by the book’.
This guide has been written especially for children and young people, so that they can see what the government has been advised needs to change. A list of the main report’s recommendations can be found at the end of this guide.
