Equality analysis assessment looking at the impact of changes to the statutory guidance detailed in ‘Working together to safeguard children’.
This revised statutory guidance includes details of everything that authorities must do to safeguard children and covers the need to safeguard children in need, under section 17 of the Children Act 1989, and to protect children, under section 47 of the Children Act 1989.
This document should be considered the alongside the statutory guidance which came into effect on the 15 April 2013.
