This notice was withdrawn on

This publication has been withdrawn as it is out of date.

When

Tuesday 12 October to Thursday 14 October 2021, from 8am to 6pm.

Where

Romney reach, Windsor Railway Bridge at Baths Island, approximately 500 metres downstream of A332 Road Bridge.

Details

A gas pipe attached to Windsor Railway Bridge requires urgent survey work. The survey will be done from a floating pontoon secured below the bridge. The pontoon will reduce channel width by 7 metres. Boats will still be able to navigate through the bridge and there will be no reduced Headway. However, we ask vessels to please be aware and navigate with caution. The pontoon will be well marked with navigation lights, signage, and a safety vessel will be present.

River users are reminded that boats going upstream must give way to boats coming downstream.

We apologise for any inconvenience these works cause and thank you for your patience during this time.
