Believe Achieve, Bolton
The project will deliver to non-Caribbean communities particularly individuals of Nigerian, Ghanaian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian heritage. The team will hold events to raise awareness of the Windrush (Status) Scheme and the Windrush Compensation Scheme. They will conduct outreach sessions via food bank and a local youth hub, to distribute translated materials and will also launch a digital campaign targeted at non-Caribbean communities, to raise awareness of the Schemes. This will include a myth-busting video and voice messages from community leaders. Finally, working in collaboration with a local radio station, the team will use this project to create a feature or podcast.

This project will target Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, Cameroon, Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi community organisations across Merseyside through community awareness roadshow events, videos, and social media messaging on the Windrush schemes.

The project will focus on non-Caribbean communities such as Nigerian, Ghanaian, and Bangladeshi groups in Salford and the Greater Manchester area. By engaging community leaders from these backgrounds to co-host events, the project aims to educate and encourage eligible individuals to apply to the Windrush schemes. The team plans to increase their reach with a bilingual radio and digital campaign.

The team will establish a six-month Windrush Community Hub in the heart of Brixton, at which a focused and inclusive programme of activities to raise awareness of the Windrush schemes will take place. This high-visibility and accessible hub will serve as a dedicated space for engaging Windrush-affected communities, particularly those from non-Caribbean Commonwealth backgrounds, including African, South Asian, and dual-heritage individuals.

This project focuses on raising awareness and combating misinformation about the Windrush schemes within non-Caribbean communities. The team will deliver awareness workshops with resources, to share information about eligibility, dispel myths and inform application requirements. They will run pop-up information stalls at high-footfall locations, implement a social media campaign using existing platforms, and train community champions.

This project will deliver to the African and South Asian communities in the Greater London area. They will empower community and faith leaders by giving them the tools for sharing information through mobile pop-up exhibitions at a series of five outreach events. This will include presentations, informal advice sessions, and opportunities to view the exhibition.

Greatway Foundation, Edinburgh
The project will be delivered across the Edinburgh City Council area and surrounding local authorities of East Lothian, West Lothian, and Midlothian. It will specifically target non-Caribbean communities, including individuals and families from Nigerian, Ghanaian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Indian heritage. The team will launch a multilingual awareness campaign using print, social media, and community radio, whilst also hosting open forums in churches, mosques, and community halls. This will all be focussed on educating people about the Windrush schemes. They will also train bilingual community ambassadors, set up weekly drop-in clinics in central and peripheral areas, provide one-on-one sessions to those who wish to know more about the Windrush schemes.

The project will engage members of the Nigerian, Ghanaian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Indian communities. Working in collaboration with grassroots partners, it will deliver a dynamic online Windrush schemes awareness campaign. In addition, the initiative will host both indoor and outdoor outreach events in partnership with local community organisations, offering inclusive fitness, health, and wellbeing programmes for all age groups.

The key aim of this project is to create a five-part podcast series focusing on migration stories from Manchester. The podcast will feature interviews with migrants from Pakistan, Poland, Ireland, Romania and Nigeria, sharing their personal journeys and the challenges they have faced. This project will raise awareness of the Windrush schemes directly with listeners as well as other migrant rights, helping to address misinformation and fostering a greater understanding of migration issues.

The project will create multilingual materials and resources on both Windrush schemes. The team will organise five public community outreach events, create a social media campaign and provide one to one follow up information and signposting.

This project focuses on individuals from South Asian backgrounds, including those with heritage in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The team will deliver in-person information sessions offering clear, accessible explanations of the Windrush schemes, address common concerns, and provide opportunities for participants to ask questions in a safe and culturally sensitive setting.

The project focuses specifically on Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Nigerian, Ghanaian, and Indian communities who may be eligible for the Windrush schemes but are currently underrepresented in uptake. They will distribute over 1,000 multilingual information packs via community hubs, food support programmes, and outreach partners. The team will also hold community engagement events, including drop-ins, pop-up stalls, and open forums in high-footfall areas, and develop and disseminate targeted digital messaging.

This project will deliver to non-Caribbean groups including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana and India. They will contact key faith and community organisations in both areas to launch awareness campaigns for the Windrush schemes through social media, information sessions, website and partner organisations.

The project will focus on individuals from non-Caribbean communities in East London, Northeast London, and Essex. They will train community champions, hold community engagement workshops and develop materials for distribution across community and digital platforms to raise awareness of the Windrush schemes. They will also have pop-up information stands at community hubs and faith centres.

This project will target Nigerian and African communities in Scotland. They plan to produce accessible materials in English and African languages, a video featuring claimant testimonials and host workshops in community hubs and churches to raise awareness of the Windrush schemes. This will be paired with a social media campaign, and a campaign via local radio and online platforms, to share success stories to enhance trust.
