Elena Whitham MSP left her role as Minister for Drugs and Alcohol Policy at the Scottish Government in February 2024

Co-Optee, Shelter

Ms Whitham sought the Committee’s advice about taking up a role with Shelter. The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in June 2025 and the appointment was announced in August 2025.
