     Schedule 5.2a amended in the franchise agreement and a new clause 5.2(c) added.

  2. 20 December 2018

     Changes to the amount of effort required to get the product ready for accreditation plus the amount of effort required to complete the accreditation process.

     Derogation to schedule 6.2 part 1, paragraph 11.2 regarding replacement of existing ticketing systems and the effort required to make the product ready for accreditation.

The direct award franchise agreement between the Secretary of State for Transport and Virgin Rail Group Limited and West Coast Trains Limited dated 5 February 2018.

The contract with Virgin Rail Group Limited and West Coast Trains Limited was announced by the Transport Minister on 5 February 2018. This agreement replaces the previous West Coast Direct Award 2014 franchise agreement.
