Waste carrier, broker and dealer registration renewals due after 25 March 2018: RPS 208

If you needed to renew your registration between 25 March 2018 and 10 October 2018 the Environment Agency extended your expiry date whilst they upgraded the online registration system.

This regulatory position statement (RPS) will be withdrawn when the upgraded online registration system is live and customers affected can renew online.

  1. The Environment Agency has extended regulatory position statement 208 so that people with renewal dates in 2019 have valid registrations until their new expiry date is reached.

  2. Because the Environment Agency's new online registration system for waste carrier, broker and dealer registration renewals may not be ready until the end of September 2018, this RPS has been extended until October 2018.

  3. The Environment Agency has extended the expiry date of this RPS because the online renewals system will not be ready until early August 2018. They have done this to ensure customers can remain compliant.

  4. The Environment Agency has extended this RPS until June 2018. This is because the upgraded online registration system may not be ready until June 2018.
