Details

From 26 October 2015, if an insurance company states that an accident damaged car can be repaired, it won’t need a VIC test in order for you to apply for log book (V5C).

This form is used to appeal a VIC test decision. You can appeal if your vehicle doesn’t pass its VIC inspection and you’re not satisfied with the decision.

If your appeal is accepted, your vehicle will be re-examined by an independent inspector.

Please read the notes on the form before completing your application.
