This example shows how Luton Borough Council used ‘Takeover Day’ to allow young people to organise and host a one day conference inviting professionals to listen to their honest and direct views about the issues facing them. The day provided an opportunity to work together to develop actions and strategies, to combat some of the biggest issues facing young people in Luton.
