In June 2013, the Home Office paid for a half day select committee training session, which was run by Capita, an external Civil Service Learning provider. This was in preparation for an appearance before the Home Affairs Select Committee in the same month. The cost of the course was £670.73. The training provided is intended to help prepare those who are to give evidence.
