Annex 1 - Monitoring Requirements

The following indicative measures will be used to monitor the progress and/or impact of the grant:

  • Number of places for youths created and filled
  • Duration of opportunity (both the duration of the place and the amount of time each young person uses the place)
  • Intensity of opportunity (number of hours a week)
  • Demographics of Young People supported:
    • Gender (mandatory)
    • Ethnicity (mandatory)
    • Socioeconomic status (mandatory)
    • Age (mandatory)
    • Disability (optional)
    • Sexual Identity (optional)
  • Number of adult volunteers recruited
    • Demographics of volunteers
  • Volunteer hours per week
    • Define as hours of interaction with YP
    • Potentially do a qualitative deep dive into the amount of time volunteers use for different admin tasks
  • How long the volunteer is with the organisation
    • Alternative could be number of hours done per year (as some volunteers as seasonal.
  • Location of places, postcodes and ideally postcodes of young people attending
  • Impact on young people’s skills and wellbeing - pre and post survey (questions to be agreed with evaluation supplier)
  • Activities undertaken by uniformed youth groups
