Start-up loans is a government-backed scheme to fund and mentor young entrepreneurs.

This research aims to:

  • understand the rationale for the localised approach
  • assess the effectiveness of the programme through feedback from the South West Investment Group, delivery agencies and start-up loan beneficiaries
  • identify lessons learnt
