  • 19 to 20 October 2018: Lord Bates attended the P4G Summit in Copenhagen which aimed to develop and scale public-private partnerships for the Sustainable Development Goals
  • 30 October 2018: DFID updated BOND members at BOND Town Hall meeting
  • 6 November 2018: DFID and Department Digital for Culture Media and Sport officials participated in a roundtable in Bristol with UN Global Compact and local businesses on Voluntary National Review. DFID officials also presented at a UN Global Compact Event in Bristol
  • 13 November 2018: DFID Secretary of State spoke at All Party Parliamentary Group for the Sustainable Development Goals Event alongside Richard Curtis
  • 16 November 2018: The Home Office hosted a civil society workshop on Goal 16
  • 22 November 2018: Lord Bates attended the opening session of the Commonwealth Heads of National Statistics to discuss the use of data to monitor the Sustainable Development Goals
  • 22 November 2018: DFID officials attended a UN Global Compact Event in Manchester
  • 23 November 2018: Lord Bates took part in a parliamentary debate on the Voluntary National Review
  • 27 November 2018: Lord Bates and DFID officials attended One Youth Ambassadors Event exploring how young people can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals
  • 13 December 2018: DFID officials attended a webinar hosted by UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD) to discuss the Voluntary National Review
  • January 2019: DFID launched the #MyGlobalGoal campaign on social media, encouraging people to link their New Year’s resolutions to the Goals
  • 14 January 2019: The Government Equalities Office (GEO) hosted a two-part civil society workshop on the Commission of the Status of Women, and the Voluntary National Review
  • 15 January 2019: VNR Stakeholder Summit in Cardiff with Welsh Government and the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales
  • 22 January 2019: DFID officials visited a primary school in Camden to speak about the Sustainable Development Goals
  • 24 January 2019: Lord Bates visited a primary school in Lewisham to speak about the Sustainable Development Goals
  • 11 February 2019: HM Treasury hosted a stakeholder engagement event on Goal 8 (Decent work and economic growth)
  • 28 February 2019: The Government Equalities Office (GEO) hosted an engagement event on Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities)
  • March 2019: DFID hosted a series of smaller workshops on Goal 17 considering data and monitoring (7 March), mobilising finance (12 March) and technology (20 March)
  • 4 March 2019: The Department for Work and Pensions hosted a stakeholder engagement event on Goal 1 (No Poverty)
  • 12 March 2019: The Department for Health and Social Care hosted an engagement event on Goal 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), in addition to a survey
  • 11 to 22 March 2019: DFID hosted a range of sector-specific engagement events on the Emerging Findings. These included events with parliamentarians, the international development sector, civil society organisations, faith groups, the private sector and local delivery events in Leeds and Bristol
  • 22 March 2019: DEFRA hosted an engagement event focusing on natural environments and sustainable consumption and production
  • 26 March 2019: UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD) hosted a webinar on data and the VNR. DFID presented on its approach to data in the VNR
  • early 2019: DFID hosting Goal 17 (partnerships) workshop and engagement event discussions
  • 28 February: The Government Equalities Office (GEO) will host a workshop on Goal 10 (Reduced inequalities)
  • 5 April: BEIS engagement event reviewing aspects of the goals that relate to affordable and clean energy (Goal 7) ; infrastructure, industrialisation and innovation (Goal 9) ; and climate change (Goal 13)
  • 8 April 2019: The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government hosted a stakeholder engagement event on Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)
  • 17 April: DFID officials updated and answered questions at an African and the Global Goals Roundtable event hosted by the Commonwealth Foundation
  • 7 May: Cabinet Office Minister for Implementation, Oliver Dowden hosts Roundtable discussion on external stakeholders’ views on Government’s approach to embedding the Goals in performance and planning
  • 21 May: DEFRA, DFID and Cabinet Office officials brief UN Global Compact Working Group on the SDGs
  • 22 May: DFID officials updated and answered questions from BOND members at their Town Hall meeting
  • 11 June: Secretary of State Rory Stewart and Minister Harriet Baldwin participate in parliamentary debate on the SDGs
