UK NCP: follow up statement after recommendations in complaint from Crude Accountability against KPO

Findings by UK National Contact Point (UK NCP) regarding KPO's conduct in relation to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

This statement records the follow up findings of the UK NCP in relation to a complaint made by Crude Accountability against KPO. The complainant alleged that the company’s actions did not meet the voluntary standards for responsible business conduct, as set out in the Guidelines for multinational enterprises published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The UK NCP produced a final statement on the complaint in December 2017. This included suggestions on how identified issues could be remedied.

As is usual, the UK NCP contacted both parties a year later to enquire about the progress of developments. This follow up records the UK NCP’s findings.
