This statement records the decision of the UK National Contact Point (NCP) about a complaint from Lawyers for Palestinian Human Rights (LPHR) against the UK company G4S plc.
The complaint alleged that the company’s actions did not meet voluntary standards on human rights included in the OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises. The guidelines have an associated complaints process delivered by the National Contact Point (NCP) relevant to the company concerned. The UK NCP made a first assessment of the complaint in June 2014. Mediation was refused, and so the UK NCP examined the information both parties had presented and reached the conclusions set out in this final statement.
