UK and Switzerland Memorandum of Understanding

This Memorandum of Understanding includes UK and Switzerland commitments to:

  • continuing discussions about trade continuity before the UK-Switzerland Trade Agreement comes into effect
  • aiming to put in place arrangements for the mutual recognition of conformity assessment bodies in time for when the UK-Switzerland Trade Agreement comes into effect
  • conducting initial discussions about improving the UK-Switzerland Trade Agreement within the 24 months after the UK leaves the EU
