TSL Limited: application made to abstract water

TSL Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a transfer licence to abstract water from excavations into the chalk within the area between National Grid References TL 04038 24944, TL 04178 24987, TL 04238 24851 and TL 04087 24792 at Luton, LU4 0UD. All water shall be transferred without intervening use to an attenuation pond at National Grid Reference TL 04097 24715 at Luton, LU4 0UD.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 72 cubic metres an hour
- 1,728 cubic metres a day
- 361,152 cubic metres a year
- All year.
The water will be used for the purpose of dewatering.
