Details
The tree that was classified as dangerous by the local council and leaning towards the river upstream of Sonning Lock has now fallen into the river restricting the navigation channel.
The centre third of the river is clear but should be navigated with caution. Any vessel that is navigating downriver has a right of way over any vessel navigating upriver.
The Thames path will be closed in this location until further notice.
Wokingham Borough Council are aware and are dealing with this issue.
