This report by the Solent Maritime Forum supplements the Solent’s Strategic Economic Plan (SEP).

The marine and maritime sector in the Solent is one of the largest and most productive, contributing 20.5% of gross value added (GVA) and 5% of private sector jobs. Its coastal location, business base, traditions, research and skills strengths provide the region with immense marine and maritime strengths.
