Details
The lifelong learning entitlement (LLE) will replace the existing post-18 student finance system to create a single funding system, bringing together higher education student finance and Advanced Learner Loans (ALLs) for qualifications at levels 4 to 6.
We invited awarding organisations to apply to have level 4 to 6 qualifications transferred from ALL into LLE funding in March 2024.
This list shows the qualifications that were approved following those applications.
From September 2026, learners will be able to apply for LLE funding for courses and modules that start from January 2027. We will also launch the LLE qualifications gateway. This will allow awarding organisations that may have previously been funded under the ALLs scheme to apply for LLE funding designation.
