This equality impact assessment accompanies proposed legislative changes in the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Bill. These changes will give greater reassurance that trade unions are complying with their existing obligation to keep accurate and up to date membership records.
We will publish a full impact assessment when we have consulted with a range of experts. This will assess the impacts of this policy on trade unions, members, employers and government.
