Details

The aim of the project was to finalise the procedure for using direct toxicity assessment as a tool for consenting appropriate effluents. The pilot study involved testing a draft protocol developed in a previous project in a series of case studies and making amendments, as necessary, to provide a robust and thoroughly tested procedure which could be used nationally.
